Avostat-20

Avostat-20 Tablets contain atorvastatin, which belongs to a group of medications known as “statins.” It inhibits the enzyme required to make cholesterol in the body and helps prevent bad cholesterol (also known as low-density lipoproteins, or LDL) and triglycerides (TG) and raise the levels of good cholesterol (high-density lipoproteins, or HDL) in the blood; it even works better with a healthy diet (such as a low-cholesterol, low-fat diet), exercise, weight loss if you are overweight, and quitting smoking.

Additionally, it reduces the amount of cholesterol made by the liver. As a result, this helps reduce the risk of heart diseases and prevents heart attacks and strokes.
