ESPCEF CV KID
COMPOSITION: CEFUROXIME 250 MG + CLAVULANIC ACID 125 MG
PACKING: 10X1X10 AA
ESPCEF-CV KID is an antibacterial medication for kids, among whom the most common are skin, throat, and ear bacterial infections. It is a combination of two medications: cefuroxime axetil, an oral cephalosporin antibiotic of the second generation; and potassium clavulanate, sometimes referred to as clavulanic acid, which is a particular type of beta-lactamase. Cefuroxime axetil operates by blocking the production of the bacterial protective layer, which is necessary for bacteria to survive in the body. Potassium clavulanate prevents the inactivation of cefuroxime by bacterial enzymes and increases the effectiveness of cefuroxime against microorganisms while reducing resistance.
