EXSTAT Tablets are combined with mefenamic acid and tranexamic acid and are suggested to prevent heavy or protracted menstrual bleeding. Tranexamic acid is an anti-fibrinolytic which works by preventing the breakdown of blood clots to control excessive bleeding during periods. Mefenamic Acid is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause pain and inflammation.
